Mandy Moore tops Christina Aguilera at Holiday Box Office
It was a pop star showdown of sorts during the busy Thanksgiving holiday movie box office weekend but only one star had the chops–or hair–to come out on top.
Disney’s 3D animated flick centering around the Mandy Moore-voiced Rapunzel, Tangled, came in at No. 2 with $69 million in ticket sales over the 5-day holiday weekend. The film was followed by another animated box office wonder, Megamind, which pulled in $17.6 million during its 4th week in theaters.
Tangled and Megamind’s box office success means the flashy Christina Aguilera and Cher-fronted vehicle, Burlesque, would have to settle for the No. 4 spot.
What’s surprising is the film’s opening numbers. Though heavily promoted, Burlesque only manged to swing $17.2 million during the 5-day weekend.
Both new films were forced to a backseat to the brand new Harry Potter installment, Harry Potter and the Deadly Hallows (Part 1). The movie takes in an additional $76 million in its second week out.
For Christina, I am Desperate, Delusionsal, and DIRRRTY! u mad?

True tea is being served!
No, you are delusional, a D-list stan, and fine, we'll give you dirty, but please go take a shower. I like Christina but she is such a flop right now.
Congrats Mandy! One of the hottest girls alive and Tangled looks like it is a really great movie!
