So Bebe Rexha said she wrote it, she wrote the hook blah blah blah, and she never credit Jon Bellion, while Jon said he wrote the hook and he always mentions Bebe in his interviews

It's just marketing to plug Bebe as a singer/songwriter goes popstar route. It happens more. It's sad but I doubt it has much to do with Bebe being selfish but more with a label/team/management that wants to market Bebe in some way, especially since she is still having a rocky road career, with just a few succesful features under her belt.
