I first was excited for this return, but I kinda want them to pull the plug at this point. Losing Simone already was horrible enough, but the fact basically 50% of the members that were left, actually decided against coming back, is also not something I look forward to. I grew to love the group how it was, they all had their strengths and it fitted, too bad they never had the chance to actually grow to become a global act. This new line-up basically won't be G.R.L. since the essence of the group is gone. It would be not right for them to perform Ugly Heart and the other songs and especially not Lighthouse.
I would very much welcome this new line-up to restart under a new name and as a new group, because that is basically what this re-start will be, a new group. I don't think Lauren and Natasha should even want to restart under this name, this name has loads of baggage. Simone will always be a topic for this group and then you get a new member(s) that basically have to fill the gap in a group that already has a pretty heavy history before they were able to turn big.
I thought Nichole was the new girl?
