News: Brazil Dog waits for dead owner at hospital for 8 months

For the last 8 months, the loyal pup has been holding vigil outside of the Ruth Cardoso Hospital, in Santa Catarina, Brazil. It all began late last year after his owner, a homeless man, was taken there after falling ill with what turned out to be a fatal infection. Negão had raced after the ambulance all the way to the hospital and watched him be wheeled inside on a stretcher.

Hospital staff have been far from callous to Negão's sad situation. They've made sure he's had water and food, and shelter from the elements. In fact, as Zero Hora reports, twice they even found families willing to adopt him, but on both occasions he escaped — only to return back to the grounds of the hospital.

I'm a fan of the Selecao for the Women's Volleyball side and even Sheilla, Thaisa, Natalia etc and most of the olympic gold medalists in there are moving to play abroad because Brazil is a mess right now. The fact you telling me I don't know anything about Brazil is ignorant. I keep up with the news. The fact those golden generation of athletes are being embarrassed by the state of affairs in your country and the way their government is handling Rio Olympics right now says a lot.
