The Space Age started with the launch of Sputnik 1 satellite in 1957. Neil Armstrong set his feet on the Moon in 1969. Spacecraft Viking 1 landed on Mars in 1976 and took the first photos of its soil. Mir became the first long-term space station in Earth's orbit in 1986. ISS, The International Space Station, launched into orbit in 1998. These have been the most important space events to date.
The next big event will hopefully be a human setting feet on Mars. For me, that would be the start of the New Space Age because it's been so long since anyone last walked on extraterrestrial soil. After that, some people will leave this home planet of ours for good to live on Mars. For these people, the concept of home will change. Now when we think of home, we think about the house and the place we live in. Then that home will be this planet, the planet Earth. Wow, just think about seeing a blue dot on the Martian sky and saying "There's our home."

When you see how small our home is, perhaps people will appreciate its nature more, and not least for the fact that it has given us life, which is the ultimate gift you can get, and we are all very lucky to be alive.
Sorry, I got a bit carried away there.

But yeah, are you excited for the future? Would you like to go to space?
