Nick Cannon refuses to vote until black lives matter

Nick Cannon will not be voting in the November general election for president, but he still wants everyone else to get out and rock the vote.
“I will definitely be voting in my local election. The pageantry of the presidency, I am not really for that,” Cannon said during an interview with Access Hollywood Live. “I feel like local government is the most important government specifically to our community.”
“I encourage everyone to vote,” he continued. “It’s a lot of people who died and fought for the right for us to vote, but me personally I don’t like the pageantry. It’s a popularity contest.”
Cannon, who is the host of “America’s Got Talent,” has also been a vocal supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement and other efforts regarding community organizing.
“No one ever said, ‘Only black lives matter,'” he said. “It’s a cry out for help. We’re saying, ‘Black lives matter, too.’ People are always saying, ‘I’m mad and tired of hearing about this “Black Lives Matter.'” Well, we’re mad that we have to keep saying it.”
I understand and respect his position, but it would be reckless not to vote this election. Nothing good will come of that! He's trying to convince people not to vote? Why? Trump will end up winning!

I bet he's going to be wishing he voted if Trump wins. I understand it's a choice between the lesser of two evils (and it pains me to think that I'll be voting for Hillary against my conscience) but it's about the big picture. The chances are great that she will only be a one-term President so we need to get her in the White House. After, then we can focus on getting someone better and more trustworthy in 2020.
