Hillary gets to 270 easier than he does.
I want it to be a 2008 landslide though to ****ing stomp the hate Trump and the GOP legitimized back into the ground.
Yes because he appeals to middle America and swing states much better than she does; obviously nobody wants him to win but his appeal to a disaffected middle class is stronger than hers and she needs to be a stronger candidate to win. She can do it by working on honesty and trust (~70% of voters find her untrustworthy) and she can start by releasing the transcripts and being honest. It's not all lost for her but dumb actions like hiring DWS are doing her no favors.
Tonight, Michelle Obama and Sanders did so much to help her but at the end of the day she is her own worst enemy.
As Bertrand Russell put it: “The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wise people so full of doubts.” This quote sums up the 2016 election pretty succinctly.
There is no certainty in anything and Trump may win in some possible scenarios. People need to do their part to prevent those scenarios from happening. Practically speaking, it's up to people who live in swing states to vote for Hillary. They're pretty close right now, but Hillary has a lead in many of them giving her a significant edge over Trump. The RNC gave Trump a small boost, and Hillary will get hers when the DNC concludes, so polling will eventually remain consistent in her favor. Polling however is not exactly reliable, so worrying is pointless until weeks before the November election.
It's irritating and somewhat frightening that someone like Trump has managed to do so well. This goes to show that even democracy is a failure when its participants place their votes based on ignorance, fear and hatred rather than through knowledge, acceptance, and love.
After UK voted their selves out of Europe, I don't underestimate publicly-voted bad decisions anymore. Don't strike out the possibility of this happening because polls can end up doing a total 180
