What do you consider a rat and a mouse?
To me, mice are more well-pampered, high-end, classy, relatable, and suave; whereas rats are more less attractive, ghetto, more conniving, less charismatic, and not very trustworthy.
For example:

This is a mouse - let's call her 'Tulip'. If she were a human, Tulip would like to go out with the girls, find a lil' cheese, and have a nice time being her fun-loving, quirky, self-assured self.
This is a rat - let's call him 'Billy'. If he were a human, he'd be from a working class background, having been orphaned at a young age, and now spends him time drinking beer with the boys and creating mayhem in the neighbourhood at night to hide his own insecurities. |

Do you agree that there's a difference between rats and mice? Which do you prefer? Why do you think rats have such a social stigma? Would you consider keeping one?
