Collaborations that launched careers
Several artists have reached prominence by being featured on popular songs.
Bruno Mars was helped by his collaborations with Travie McCoy and B.o.B.
Kesha with her Right Round feature.
And most recently, Sam Smith with his team up with Disclosure.
Can you give other examples?
Don't let this flop, bitches.

I have a feeling that Ariana Grande regrets featuring Iggy Azalea. Problem should've claimed the top of Hot 100.

Celine Dion broke through in the English speaking world for the pop duet version of "Beauty and the Beast" that she recorded with Peabo Bryson, who was a much bigger star than her at the time.

OT: Problem basically boosted both Ariana and Iggy, although Fancy was already rising on its own.

Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth on See You Again launched Charlie's career.
Rihanna and Calvin Harris on We Found Love brought Calvin into the mainstream more. Not to say he didn't have a career before that song.
