Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh Goes Solo with Aggro Santos on “Like U Like”
First was Chezza. Then came Nuhdeen. Now, it’s time for Kimba to shine.
Kimberley Walsh is officially the third Girls Aloud gal to give it a go on her own with “Like U Like,” a collaboration with the UK’s answer to Pitbull/professional Ali G lookalike, Aggro Santos.
Today, the video (and song!) premiered on Aggro Santos’ YouTube channel. (WATCH)
The most important thing to take away from this cautionary tale about speed dating is that Kimberley is looking ‘quite fit’: The sexed-up hair and booty-against-the-bright-lights are doing really good things for her (even if she does look a bit Cheryl.)
As far as the song goes, here are a few objective facts about “Like U Like”:
+ It’s a fairly anonymous dance-pop affair.
+ It’s a grower. Each play has gotten better.
+ Kimba’s chorus is pretty catchy and great-ish.
+There is far too little Kimberley Walsh on this song.
+ There is far too much Aggro Santos on this song.
+ “AY AY AY AY AY.” That’s a good part.
+ It will likely perform decently on the charts.
+ It is not the greatest song that Aggro Santos has ever recorded with an ex-girl group member named Kimberly(ey). For that, please see “Candy,” featuring the Pussycat Dolls‘ (and legendary Her Majesty & The Wolves co-founder/Andy Warhol of our generation) Kimberly Wyatt.

IMO i really like it in fact ive been listening to it pretty much nonstop since i first heard it. Is not bad, but is not great either but is pretty catcchy. Kimberley looks awesum n the video and that guys kinda cute too lol.
If GA do reform I can't see Nadine being the lead vocalist like she was early on in their career. The vocals will be more evenly distributed like they were with their last two records. That's a good thing.
Nadine is still my favourite, I'm just glad she flopped because the material was awful. She's back in contact with Cheryl again.
Im glad this kinda happened cuz idk why it always seemed like Nadine's ego was huge and now hopefully she'll realize she aint betta than the other chicks(vocally yes) but she aint girls aloud. \
By the way is this guy frm the UK? he looks latino of course but hmm his pronunciation and translation is justt too bad. Como se gusta??? that doesnt make sense it shuda been como te gusta?
Nadine was Girls Aloud early on. They would have been nothing without her and I think she would have been successful as a solo artist had she decided to begin her career 5-6 years ago. She didn't have an ego when she was younger, certainly not to the extent she does now (I don't think it's that bad tbh).
Cheryl has been successful only because of the X Factor. I think she's going to struggle to match the success of her début (album +single).
As much as i love cheryl i gotta admit shes already kinda struggling plus not doin promo aint helping at all. Ahhh eff this bring back girls aloud
She was on Children in Need tonight. I hope MLR goes double platinum, tbh I'm not expecting much more than that. Hopefully the third single will be good, I doubt she'll release a fourth. GA used to release three and she continued that pattern with 3 Words.
