I just found this video on YouTube and it's really touching...makes you think how underrated the Dead Petz era was and the heart she put into the album. I don't know if we'll ever get another album from her as personal as this one.
The album is just and this comes from a HUGE Miley stan. It's just not my cup of tea, I know a lot of people that actually likes it. Still waiting for a more solid and stripped album that puts her vocals on focus.
Your fave only dreamed of making an album like this, but she wasn't allowed because she's nothing more than a label puppet.
That's silly, even under label control Kesha puts out quality material. If she were to put out an album the way she wanted to, it wouldn't be a hot mess like DP.

She wanted to put out an album produced alongside The Flaming Lips, but Miley was able to first.
You're entitled to your opinion of the material though. I'll stay respecting Dead Petz for what it was
She is such a sweetheart...I thought I would hate the album but it had really cool songs and I still use some of them..u can really feel the emotion in them

Wait @ the comment on the video ''dead petz era made miley a living legend'' True
An amazing album and sadly one of the most misunderstood of recent memory, if not the most misunderstood of the decade. Though the era was slightly messy, and obviously the production on the album isn't as fleshed out and clean as on your regular go-to pop album, I still appreciate we got such an honest and interesting record from her, one that will probably stand the test of time by getting more fans over the years.
