Loud and Rated R to me are equally as great. i really cant choose which album i luv better. however, if i take everything into consideration, i can see RATED R being the timeless classic that all RihannaNavy will still remember years and years from now because it is Rihanna's most innovative album ever. RATED R>>>>>>>>>>>>GGGB despise the commercial success

the album that made me a fan
While the world was going gaga for dance-pop music that popstar Rihanna had herself crucially contributed to reestablish in the mainstream (following the lead of Nelly Furtado in 2006), after the horrible split from her popstar boyfriend Chris Brown, Rihanna came back with a rage-filled, vulnerable yet powerful, highly poetic, hip-hop/dubstep album, that nobody expected. The critically acclaimed set included the singles:
Wait Your Turn: a dubstep declaration of war of an embittered, yet undefeated, diva
Russian Roulette: a suicidal ballad metaphor of life and love
Hard: an hip-hop anthem to self determination and strength in the face of adversity
Rude Boy: the biggest hit, an island flavored dancehall track about sexual liberation for women
Rockstar 101: the bible of a damned generation, the revisitation of rock in the hip-hop age
Te Amo: a mysterious pulsating mid-tempo about unrequited lesbian love
Notable songs in the album:
Firebomb: a rock, homicidal ballad with a "last scene of Thelma&Louise" flavor
G4L: a feminist, violent dubstep anthem for abused women, that quickly became the hymn of the Rihanna's fandom, the self-proclaimed Rihanna Navy
The album was received with luckluster (for Rihanna's standard) commercial success, and the commercially leaning award shows (pretty much all) snubbed it.
But history will give its final word on this legendary achievement for a 21 year old woman.

i was already a hardcore stan after GGGB, but this Album turned me into lifeless navy that will do anything that queen commands! this is a timeless classic that every single navy will still remember 10, 20, 30 years from now.

sis, this is the album that helped me go through a very though time of my life and helped me face adversity as a challenge rather than something to be afraid of. I will be forever thankful to the Queen.
