The incident was caught on camera in Denver although the major action occurs just off-screen.
Explaining what happened, user Paul Gonzo said he was shooting a video of the sunset when the vehicle ran a stop sign causing the skater to fall off his board.
He added: ‘The passenger of the McLaren yelled something at him and the next thing I heard was a SMASH! The windshield was completely shattered.
