In this interview from 2 years ago, Miley talks about the fakeness in the industry and how the 'classy" girls aren't always what they seem. She goes on to say that she would rather be a good person and be seen as crazy, then pretend to be a perfect sweetheart, but rude in real life.

I just thought this was very telling from the exposes of some celebrities in the last couple of days. Was Miley right all this time?

She was probably just talking in general, but this definitely applies to Taylor and Selena. She has had a rocky relationship with both of them and the shoe definitely fits.
