Beyoncé has inspired a collective of transgender artists to recreate scenes from her iconic and groundbreaking visual, Lemonade, in a tribute video called "Lemonade served Bittersweet". One of the artists, Beyoncé impersonator Miss_Shalae, had this to say about the ambitious project

I am a transgender woman and last year there were 22 trans women of color murdered, and those are just the ones that were reported.
There are trans women out in the world with no direction, homeless, trying to find a way to survive...
I used to perform whatever music spoke to me but since my transition I've been sticking to Beyoncé because I resemble her and love everything she does as an artist. She is an all around true inspiration.
