It's always been a roller coaster with her live performances. Sometimes it's good, sometimes it's just awful.

Exactly. Acoustic, stripped down performances are her thing.
But this song ain't easy to sing

Firework is a difficult song, thats the only one she can possibly struggle on tour. Other than that, she does amazing with other songs and adds a new flavor to them.
