What is the best Romance language? French?Spanish?Portuguese?Italian? (You can include Catalonian as well)
I think it's Portuguese or Spanish, closely followed by French. The grammar is just a bit too annoying, like having to remember all the genders and stuff.

I studied Spanish for longer but when I studied Italian, I preferred it. I don't have much of an interest in learning French, but Romanian and Portuguese seem interesting.
English because I don't know the others and they might be talking about how they want to cook kittens. If you are just going of sound then Russian or any of those sorts of languages.

I speak Spanish, and it's very similar to Portuguse, but idk I find Portuguese very interesting. But I think to native Spanish Speakers it must sounds hideous, because as you said, it's like Dutch/German, and whenever I hear Dutch, I want to vomit (sorry dutch sistren)
Even things like "dos" to "dois" are like zdfghn. I CANNOT.
