I believe social media has made this behavior worse than past decades.

Do you not see that celebs have 2 goals in mind, to stay relevant and to make dough. In order for them to do that they will say anything trendy in mind to gain followers. Now when they do activism about certain outcry's that happen to a country they are glorified to the godsss and back. When will people learn that celebs don't care about you?

theyre not even as glorified as it was back then they dont have that mysterious effect anymore thanks to social media, this applies to pop stars as well. if anything they seem more ~just like us nowadays
