NRA silent on Philando Castile; continues tweeting
The NRA (National Rifle Association) has been known to demand justice for those persecuted for legal gun rights.
Philando Castile (a licensed gun carrier) was shot multiple times which resulted in death.
MSNBC and other media outlets are reporting that they have not heard a word from them, but that they are still actively tweeting about protecting "Good guys with guns".
Have I missed the statement from the NRA today on Philando Castile? They should be riding hard for that man's family.
-Christopher Matthews, MSNBC
They have not started their normal practices of protecting the victim who had a conceal & carry permit, like they did for the likes of George Zimmerman. However, they have been posting stories of people like an armed teen who defended her home against burglars.
Are gun rights and the NRA for white people? Will the NRA speak up on this injustice?
I'm just gonna need black people to realize that the right to bear arms, stand your ground and self-defense does not apply to our race. You're gonna get booked or punched out the game either way. It ain't fair, but it is what it is.
