This isn't just the thirst bucket in me speaking, but the cast of Kingslayer looks far more interesting design wise than the generic guys of FFXV.

A shame the movie will probably be poor outside from some cool set pieces and the hot main character.

The movie has some very good impressions. Let's see.

Compared to most franchises I think Final Fantasy has a strong proprotion of Gay, Female and at very least very liberal fans.

In any case the image isn't* overly sexualised so I think the straights would just see it as a grounded, candid portrayal of the lead character.

FF fandom is as rainbow as it can be.

And FF definitely have a sizable gay and female base. It's even deemed as gay/girly in general by unsecured straight guys.

imo the cast of Kingsglaive look more generic than the main FFXV game lol
Their designs are new to FF for sure but they look like they're from any other western developed video games, while the main FFXV cast looks are kind of unique in gaming these day.
While I prefer this design over the main FFXV, I hope the next Final Fantasy will stick to their old colorful designs of FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, FFXII...
