It's a really common thing when you're gay, especially in small countries and cities, to deal with literally every gay knowing each other. For example, here in Greece, every gay has the other on facebook and you end up having like 300 mutual friends with people.

The question is, does finding out that your gay friends have been with a guy you like at the moment make you uncomfortable? Every time I discuss this thing with someone they always tell i'm "shaming" tbh but I don't see it that way.

For me, there is literally something very unsettling knowing that some close friends of yours have f***ed someone you like. It isn’t wrong, it’s a real thing that’s happening in the gay community and it doesn’t mean it can’t make people feel uncomfortable. I'm not sex shaming. If you had a connection with someone that isn’t based solely on sexual intercouse, you will understand.

kii I found out my friend I did things with last year was talking to my friend I did things with two years ago, but I didn't care bc if I liked them *in the past* then it's irrelevant

I have a rule against competition when it comes to guys. I don't believe in competing for men. With that said, once I find out that a friend of my messed around with a guy I like I lose interest.

Joking aside, I barely know any other gays so I don't have to deal with this. The few I follow on social media (twitter/Insta) all seem to be connected, so thats funny. I feel a bit left out to be honest

Happened to me a lot, but I am that person who ****ed everyone, and then when they met each other they talked about having sex with me.

That would make me feel awkward. There's quite a lot of gays who act as if you should have sex with everyone because they are scared of relationships. They get defensive or shame you for having boundaries.

There are a few gays that aren't friends with every other gay though. But it's very easy to be linked to sex partners.

That hasn't happened to me, my friends aren't that ****ty and the guys I like don't have history of messing around with everybody, however if it ever happens to me, I may be annoyed for a while and then lose interest on this guy and move on.
