How does Suddam Hussain have WMDs when he's unaware of their existence, given that they were 'leftovers' from the 1980s? Both sure pushed for war with those misleading allegations. They misused their own intelligence to better their chances of an invasion.

They're sick in the ****ing head. Who favours war? Who sends troops into a country not for peace, but to torture them? Both liars, and it's thanks to them that we're in a worse situation now than we were before.

Soldiers families are calling Blair a "terrorist". He has said he will take full responsibility. I am disgusted.gif

A lot of people were pissed but acknowledged that there was somewhat of a case.

By about 2009 almost everyone was against it and we're all still very angry.

The largest demonstration in British history revolved around this, with at least a million (one estimate as high as 3 million, but that's unlikely) people marching through London a month before the war started. Plus 100 thousand in Scotland and 20 thousand in Northern Ireland.

So you could say British people weren't particularly thrilled about it.

Bush and Blair screwed up. Iraq became a breeding ground for terrorists and amplified the terror threat. Just to think how the US reacted towards Frace cause they stayed out of it. Shameful tbh.

I'm a Pole and I'm ashamed that we took part in the invasion of Iraq. This is a stain on our history because we usually had our hands clean. A great shame.

Yeah. Media and politicians manipulated population (me included) into thinking that Saddam Hussein really had a WMD and really planned to use it. It seemed like a reasonable justification for war. They were liars. I'm just grateful that now I have an unlimited access to the internet so TV can no longer brainwash me to believe in a lie.

I wonder what other lies will be exposed in 10-15 years

The war in Iraq is why ISIS is what they've become today.
