This is a long battled debate by scientist who claim on one side AI technology have life and emotions. For an example if you are playing GTA V and go on a shooting spree inside a strip club and kill mostly everyone inside. Do you believe those characters actually suffered? Do you believe the relatives of those game characters mourn the loss of their loved ones?

While the other side of scientist dare say that AI technology have no emotional strings attached to them. Which side do you believe?

They aren't real..... so no I do nor care for the loss of characters on a video game.....

Unless emotions are programmed then no, that's ridiculous. AI is only 1s and 0s.

Yes, that's why I always tried to drive like the AI in GTA, I was a #perfectcitizen.

They can only do what they're programmed to do. If they're programmed to cry when a character dies, they'll cry but they can just as easily be programmed to strip naked and do the Macarena.

As someone who has PROGRAMMED Artificial Intelligence systems, no. Absolutely not. Any scientist that argues that has no idea what they're talking about.
