Do you think Hunger Games series is good?

This franchise is more like a drama series than an action series; the franchise talk about the life of the main protagonist who live in a fictional dark age of United States

The main protagonist of the film was a bit stupid, while she was having chance to become a high ranking officer in new government, she killed the leader of the rebel; As a result of this incident, she was banished to her poor homeland and might live in poverty for all of her life

(The first film of series was banned in theaters in Vietnam due strong violent plot)

Yes Catching Fire is my favorite film of all time, and the original is likely my runner-up. The other two are awesome as well though they have a completely different tone.

I really liked the first book and film but then lost interest, I think she should have developed the characters more, kind of like JK Rowling did with Harry Potter.

She wasnt banished! She got away with it, with the help from Haymitch and Plutarch, by proving to the court that she was mentally unstable. Its her decision to go back to her home district.

The best movie franchise of all time. CF and Part 2 are classics.
Because Coin was just gonna start the Hunger Games again, kinda defeats the purpose of the story if she was kept alive

The first one and Catching Fire are good. The other 2 aren't.

Sis. For the simple reason that she didn't wanna work for a corrupt politician that she didn't trust or believe in and would have only repeated history.

Apart from that, she never enjoyed any of the attention she was getting, never wanted to be the Mockingjay, never even wanted to leave her hometown.

Books - absolutely.
Films - not as good, but still pretty fantastic.

I just wish we had some more expanded content, like books about earlier Games etc.

Catching Fire is an AMAZING movie, while The Hunger Games is an excellent book. I didn't read Mockingjay, but both movies disappointed me, especially the third one.

Kind of the opposite for me, which I don't think I've ever said about a book-to-film series before.

The HG books are great for the story, but Collins isn't a particularly great writer. It is nice having a bit more insight into Katniss' head in the books, but otherwise I don't think anything is lost in the movies. In fact, the movies improve on the books in a few ways. Most notably, they are able to show events happening around Panem in real-time, rather than having Katniss hear about them on TV or whatever. Catching Fire is a really powerful film because of that -- that movie in particular blows the book away.

the book series is a masterpiece and the movies were so well executed. It was a slayage.

Yes I was so devasted walking out of the movie theater after watching Mockingjay part 2 because I would look forward to a new movie every year since 2012

btw. the first movie is a classic.

fff; GURL I was literally SHAKING inside the theater . The whole movie was such a punch in the guts, so heart wrenching
