Does anyone else (U.S. members) not celebrate any holidays?
I don't celebrate any holidays (not even new years) because these are just made up holidays to give people an excuse to go out and spend money they don't have. Why should i support the U.S. capitalist system? The same system that caused many families to lose their homes, jobs and dignity during the 2008 financial crisis. The fact that today is july 4th gives me another reason not to celebrate when america has so much injustice. From race to inequality. There has to be change or the country will have the same fate as rome.
