If you could come up with a music video idea for a non-single song off of an album, what would it be like?
For example:
A music video for Britney's "Cinderella" set at a castle with her prince boyfriend. Throughout the video, Britney is bored and disinterested in their relationship and the things they do together, with some scenes of her addressing the cameras and breaking the fourth wall as she sings. We find out that the boyfriend has been treating her terrible, and that she has been meeting with a fairy that can break the spell he has on her. She packs her things, and during the bridge of the song, meets with the fairy one last time to sign the scroll that breaks their bind. On the final chorus of the song, Britney runs away from the castle as far as she can through the night with her things as the prince finds her gone and throws a tantrum. At the end of the music video, Britney emerges on the other side of the woods as the sun is coming up. A brand new beginning away from her twisted fairy-tale with endless opportunity to start over.
So what about you guys? What music video concepts would you come up with?
Lady Gaga - Gypsy
Starts off with footage from her at the artRAVE walking down the stage to her piano before starting to play the song. During the first verse, it's footage of her and the audience during her performance, then during the chorus it has footage of her driving down a highway, flying on a jet and meeting and interacting with fans.
Basically lots of footage of that for the majority of the song, then towards the end it goes back to solely footage of her Gypsy performance at the artRAVE, ending with her exiting the stage.
