New Kids on the Block and the Backstreet Boys are teaming up for a joint tour, called NKOTBSB!

The two bands will perform beginning in the summer of 2011 - and tickets go on sale later this month on Ticketmaster!

It was also announced today that both groups will hit the stage together on the 2010 American Music Awards on ABC on Sunday, November 21.

“New Kids on the Block and Backstreet Boys on one stage is something special. Moments like these are what the AMAs are all about,” AMA producer Larry Klein said.

It'll be cool seeing [the Backstreet Boys] in concert, again -- and for two performances. I haven't seen them live since the Unbreakable Tour in '08. Never got a chance to catch a This Is Us show.

I hope they release new material for the tour.

They stayed together and those hardships made them stronger.
