Jon Bon Jovi, leader of the band "Bon Jovi said in an interview on British radio shortly after the MTV Europe Music Awards.

Jon was asked what he thought of the awards and how was the experience of sharing the stage with Rihanna singing a song from the band's biggest hit "Livin 'On A Prayer" and incredibly surprised everyone by saying that Rihanna had an incredible voice and only, and is a singer that the world has never seen before with the same characteristics as only she has. He added that he believes is a matter of time before it became the biggest star in the world. "It can appear without need of scandals and dance like crazy, she's the real queen of music." Jon Bon Jovi said.

I agree. Madonna's voice has never been outstanding but she's always had incredible stage presence. Something Rihanna could work on a bit.

Love Rihanna but those artists need to stop those things only because they perform with some celebrities. I mean Elton John praises Gaga coz he performed with her, now the same happens with Rihanna, who's gonna perform with U2 so they will say she is the queen of music?

Who is or isn't a "queen of pop" is soooo completely subjective. Everyone will always argue for their fave, citing sales figures, celebrity endorsements or whatever else. Rih stans will use Bon Jovi and all her #1 singles, Bey stans will use Rolling Stone and Destiny's Child, Gaga stans will use Michael Jackson and Elton John, Britney stans will use her sales figures from the late 90s and early 2000s, etc etc... to try to give more weight to their argument, but we will never reach a point where everyone, or even the majority agrees. The only thing that's generally accepted is that Madonna >>>> so every time someone claims that anyone besides Madonna is queen and means it, I'd just take it with a grain of salt.
