GOT, even though its quality has declined a lot these past few seasons.

This is not true Maybe Season 5 but certainly not S6

It was good, but the writing in the season just throws me off for some reason

GOT, the emmy's don't lie

I mean I love both, but GOT has me screaming and gasping consistently each week, it just feels like a massive event as well. The walking dead stories are much more contained and local.

GOT is generally better directed with less filler, while I think TWD is largely more satisfying on a character-driven basis (ie: Rick would have died in the Season 1 or 2 finale and we wouldn't feel close to any of his group at this point given half of them would be dead by now if it were more like GOT).

Also, Season 6 episode 9 is the best episode in both series

The Walking Dead, easily.

Never seen GOT. Love TWD though.
