What are some things you subtly do to **** with people's minds?

While talking to my boyfriend, I hand him a nearby object like a remote control. Like, as I'm talking to him, I hold the object in front him and look at it as if I want him to take it. Sadly it hasn't worked yet because every time I try do it I burst out laughing but I've read so many stories of it working.
Usually when talking to someone mid convo, and you hold a random object in front of them, they'll take it. Like even rubbish or something.

I also like to subtly use incorrect spelling and/or grammar.

I like to be subtly offensive in a way where I can't be called out on it but people are still like "you bitch"

You must the item to them. The trick here is that if you have a bag of groceries, you begin to talk to the other person and distract him/her that way. Now you can pass them the groceries and continue talking to them and they will hold it for awhile without realising what they're doing.
