Adele swore 33 times during Glastonbury despite BBC warning
Quote:
Adele's much-discussed performance featured a swear word every 2.7 minutes, according to MirrorOnline, and the award-winning singer could not even get through her first song of the evening before she dropped an F-bomb.
But Adele's 90-minute headline set on the Pyramid Stage at the iconic music festival was as memorable for her excessive swearing as her powerful vocals, as she swore 33 times during the performance.
The 28-year-old singer - who is known for her potty mouth - admitted she was even warned by the BBC to tone down her language as her set was broadcast live to millions at home on BBC Two.
Speaking to the packed-out crowd at Worthy Farm on Saturday, she jokingly revealed: 'Do you know how rock 'n' roll I am?
'Not very, but the BBC had to give me a warning about my potty mouth before I went on. I bet Muse didn't get that.'
i'm so floored by how much she swears and is so popular esp in US. i mean UK is a much more sweary country so it's more understandable. but it's always in a lovely, happy, hilarious and most of all honest manner. ppl know that she is her foul-mouthed north london self every time, no matter how huge star she is. it's all 100% genuine
wonder what's her thoughts on the UK referendum thing
People were booing certain people's hometowns and she mentioned that everyone needed to stick together "after what happened the other day", so she was obviously pro remain.
