The British pound has already crashed, it's shaping up to be terrible for the British economy. Notable campaigners have already u-turned on their promises. The campaign was built on a lot of patriotism and, frankly, xenophobia that seemed to capture the interest of, most importantly, the 65+ age bracket. Young people wanted to remain and are now shafted by the older generation's choices.
