No. I have a few gay friends that make fun of how I dress because it's "too straight". Which means that I wear cargos and a t-shirt when I'm going for a walk or something outside when it's 95 degrees outside. Sometimes I will gladly just wear something comfortable and bland because I prefer comfort over style when I'm not dressing to impress.

Also, I'm wayyyyy too self-conscious to wear much that could be considered "gay" in style. One time, I put on stylish shorts on that a friend picked out and I felt uncomfortable with how much thigh was being shown, so I just bought cargo shorts. We're all different.

However, yes, some gays can be spotted miles away by the way they dress. But it's not a fail-safe measure for every gay.

You could probably tell in older people, but the younger generation is too liberal and people just do whatever they please so its impossible to tell.

Not always, but there are definitely occasions where you can tell someone isn't straight
