The Neon Demon is definitely not horror in any traditional sense. It's a very artsy, dark thriller. I enjoyed it, but the GP will hate it if they go into it expecting anything horror or even something like Black Swan. It's very, very slow and heavy on ambiguity. The ending is nuts though.
Don't Breathe is wonderful.
I'm looking forward to The Woods, Lights Out, and The Bye Bye Man. Hopefully Rings will see a release as well, but with as many times as it has been pushed back, I'm doubting it.
