I'll write the same things I wrote in the Pride thread since it's what I think about this. She doesn't just make amazing music, she is a true artist, and an artist who TRULY supports the LGBT community.
(she refused to perform @ the National Scout Jamboree back in 2013, since she did not accept gay guys to be banned from actually being scouts)
What she did at this Pride anyway, is more than just performing in my opinion, she has been BRAVE, she knew that it might have been dangerous, yet she decided to fight evil together with the LGBT community, giving them joy through her music, refusing to give up and to live in fear.
Carly Rae Jepsen is an amazing person and an amazing artist and I'm truly proud of actually being a fan of her.
Everybody has to fight for what happened, and weapons are not the answer. We have to fight spreading love and joy. Once again, I hope that the victims of the massacre found a place in Heaven, they all deserve it.
