This was from Celebrity Big Brother 5 and it caused so much controversy around the world and got Jade, Jo and Danielle in so much ****, it also got Celebrity Big Brother cancelled for a year. Shilpa didn't deserve the abuse at all.

...that was so underwhelming.

Everything Helen and Marc did in the last couple of seasons was worse.

Jade apologised profusely, visited India to address the public, meet with Shilpa and suffered the torment of being told she had cancer on TV (also couldn't tell the housemates, the most heartbreaking scene I've ever seen on any BB.) She later died of cancer having spent months in the public eye, raising money for her children's future and awareness at the same time.

Don't be too harsh on her, she did explain that her ignorant upbringing was the cause of her behaviour. Not an excuse, but she learned from the experience and became a better person.

I know that, I liked Jade but that argument should have never happened in the first place, I'm just after watching the scene in Bigg Boss where she found out that she had cancer and it's very emotional and Jade wasn't a bad person in life, it's heartbreaking that she's gone.

I can't believe the others involved were treated so lightly. She was rightfully treated terribly, but I still don't think what she said was specifically racist, just controversial and probably the first instance of it against an Asian person on TV.

Didn't like her at first but gradually warmed to her like everyone else, and yeah, she wasn't a bad person. Unfortunately didn't know any better and telling her story, as well as fighting cancer on TV helped raise awareness and a lot of women went to clinics and got themselves checked.

I do like a happy ending (fund raising, charity work, marriage before her death), despite the circumstances. One of few reality stars I actually liked haha. It was just so sad to watch.

Must've missed that interview. What's wrong with the woman, she's explaining herself perfectly well, denying it was intentionally discriminatory.

Yeah I remember this. It was crazy. Racism makes me so mad, they were making fun of Shilpa's culture it was just horrible to watch. I remember hearing about the public going outside the CBB house and screaming, 'racist!!!!!!'. I didn't know Jade found out she had cancer on television though that's so heartbreaking

Did you watch BB15 in the U.S.? That was really bad too.

It was disgusting but she definitely seemed genuinely sorry. What's disgusting is that everyone focused on Jade when that one from S-Club and the WAG were basically co-signing everything yet didn't get any flack
