After Christina's death are you more understanding of why some celebrities don't like meet and greets? For example, i thought Justin Bieber was a little bitch for canceling his meet and greets, but now it's been into perspective to me. It also has me wondering if this is why Taylor Swift chooses people from the crowd instead of selling M&G's.


If this can happen to a not very known person, who was extremely sweet and didn't have any enemies, what can happen to people like Justin Bieber and Beyonce during events like this?


This entire situation is so shocking and sad, hopefully it can change the industry for the better with changes to prevent this from ever happening again.

To be honest, if I was in any famous person's situation, I'd be terrified to step out into public. You're in this spotlight open for people to hate or love you. Some people take their hate to the next level. Some people just want the attention surrounding the nature of a certain celebrity.

Example: Hurting or harming a celebrity and having your name attached to that celebrity because it's what people will remember them for.

The way people treat celebrities in general is kind of gross. They're people too - they just happen to have money and a spotlight on them.

Should performers be afraid of even going on a stage vulnerable to thousands who could potentially (and easily) fatally shoot them? I wonder this ALL the time and I always worry it's going to happen to one of my faves, or really to any performer for that matter.

I never cared if an artist wanted or not to do M&Gs. If they're not comfortable, that's okay. The thing i had with Justin cancelling his Meet & Greets is that they were basically scamming his fans by not wanting to accept partial refunds!

I'm just astounded that he got in with a gun. Was there no security or something?

Leona got punched at her M&G, this girl sadly lost her life. It should be a lesson for all celebrities to tighten their security measures.

Bieber didn't even cancel it because he was paranoid or worried, it was just him being a brat though.
The chances of this are happening are really rare though but I guess famous people live in paranoia.

When a celebrity is doing a Meet & Greet, there is much security work behind it. So, it's not the same at all. Christina wasn't on the same level with Justin Bieber. Only God knew this would happen.

That's so messed up. I never knew her, but I am grieving. No one should get their life taking away like that. My prayers go out to her and her family. It's really scary cause I did a meet and greet with a celebrity and just anybody can "meet" them. They need security backgrounds for these M&G's. Like no fan should get within 10 feet of a celebrity unless their 100% free of any kind of weapon or tool that could harm them.

I hope this wakes up America and the music industry.

I was at a Twenty One Pilots concert and no one checked us. So something tragic can happen even without M&Gs. And I honestly think celebs (with good security) are safer at M&G's than on the streets.

I've never heard of a M&G that ended tragically like this one. This is a first. The chances are small, but it's still there. This is part of the industry we work in when you want to be in the spotlight.

I beg to think their was a motive behind the attacker. I hope we get more on this story as it uncovers.

at this point it wasn't about meet and greets, people are entering venues with guns, what the hell is wrong with people, thousands of people enter venues, they need to step up the security game what the hell!!!
