People with guns kill people. /enddiscussion

I have to agree. Guns are created by people, and people who kill people use guns. It's not like the gun stood up and killed a person. It's the sick individual who used the gun to hurt whomever. Regardless, it's horrifying that people are that mentally ill that they would harm another individual.

That saying has never sat right with me.

True, you can have a 1000 guns in your house but if you're a sane person you wouldn't be trying to kill people randomly with them. You have to be sick to just go out and randomly kill people.

It's true. UK doesn't have easy access to guns here so knife crime is rampant and ridiculous.

That being said, I disagree with this statement, but it's just an opinion.

We make guns so readily available to mentally ill people that we can't solely blame them for being mentally ill.

People WITH GUNS kill people. I seriously don't get this mindset every time there is a terrible gun-related death.

Like literally, there is NO OTHER REASON for a gun to exist BUT TO KILL. Period. Point blank. End of story. A gun is meant to murder. Stop saying "people kill people, don't blame the guns!". It's the most insensitive thing you can say after a shooting.

And before anyone tries it: yes, I know people would still kill if guns didn't exist. I know knife related crime also happens. But killing someone with a knife is no where near as easy as simply walking up to them, pulling a trigger and dipping out.
