Dawn Ward has been found guilty of assaulting singer Sinitta.
The Housewives of Cheshire beauty, who was involved in an altercation with the X Factor star in a London restaurant in April last year, had denied the charge.
She was sentenced to be bound over to keep the peace for three months - and
said she was 'disappointed that the court has found a prod on Sinitta's shoulder' was judged to be common assault.
However, there was no evidence she punched her in the face, chest or threatened to glass her with a Champagne flute, the court heard.
However the judge said that Sinitta was not a "credible witness" and asked police to investigate tweets she sent during the course of the trial.
District Judge Elizabeth Roscoe said at Westminster Magistrates Court today: "Miss Malone was not a credible witness and I don't accept her account.
"There are inconsistencies between the accounts she has given in court and to police.
"The CCTV is partial but it is clear doesn't show a punch to the chest or face.
"I found Miss Ward credible in her account, there is no evidence of contact with Miss Malone from a napkin or an e-cigarette.
"But I'm satisfied that when Mrs Ward prodded or poked Miss Malone it was an assault by beating and was unlawful, although the force was minimal, not strong.
"Therefore I find the case proven."
