I just saw this and... OMG It was pretty twisted and I'm not sure how I felt about the ending but I was mesmerized with it. One of the most interesting films I've seen in a while.
I have mixed feeling when I first walked out of the theater. However, the more I think about it the more the movie makes sense. The highly stylized format of the movie itself reflects the subject matter that the movie accuse fashion industry of. Extremely beautiful, but rotten and vapid in the core. It's kind of a genius representation of objectifying the movie itself.
There are a lot of perverse twists and turns one may not expect coming, which keeps one engage and think.
And oh boy, the soundtrack is DEVINE. Sonic wise it is like a mix baby from Social Network and Under the Skin. The melody can be moody and obscure, but the beats make the sound lucid and determined the same time. Cliff and Nicolas makes the best pair in film making of stylized cinema with visuals and music
