Yeah. The last time I travelled on my own was when I returned to Japan last summer, also this summer I'll go to South Korea and Japan (again, lol). Traveling by yourself it's a very interesting experience, you learn a lot and you're set to make new friends and to create new connections.
By yourself or with someone else, traveling is always a magical experience, they're just two different ways of doing it

No. I wish to do it some day, but right now I'm too afraid something will happen to me if I go on my own. I get distracted really easily so I'd probably get lost or something

I have and I love it.

I travelled around Europe (Amsterdam, Hamburg, Berlin, Prague and Vienna) all by myself when I was 22. I also traveled by myself in the US (just NYC and DC) some months ago.

It's really cool cause you just follow your own rules, you can have breakfast, lunch or dinner anytime you want, you can go to the places you are most interested in, you can hook up with someone if you want to, etc.

The first time I travelled alone was when I went to see Madonna in September in Montreal. It was kinda nerve wracking because of planning everything and paying for things on my own, but it worked out well. I had lots of stuff stuff to keep me busy and the concerts so I didn't have a 'what next?' moment. There are times where its kinda lonely when you go out to eat, but I don't mind going to a trendy restaurant and I always end up making small talk with the people around me.

I've also done Boston and Miami this year and now I'll be doing St. Louis in September too. It's nice to know you don't have to talk your day out with someone, you get to have those quick internal thoughts whenever you change your plans.

Funny at the timing of this thread. Just travelled to England from Canada for the first time by myself yesterday!

I always find really cheap plane tickets from Prague to London or other cool cities in Europe that are like 10 dollars. I always want to buy it but I'm just too scared. Hopefully I'm gonna grow some balls one day and just do it.
