Just checking to see if anyone has had this problem/knows how to resolve it;

I have just bought a new iPod Touch 5th gen, put all of my music on it but when I go to listen to something, the music/instrumentals are crystal clear but I can't hear the voices? Like some songs sound purely like instrumentals and others sound drowned out and very ethereal, even at full volume.

I tried searching Google before posting this and most people mentioned that it could be the equilizer. I checked and it is set to 'off'. I don't know what else to do. Help?

Try it with a couple of headphones and if it doesn't improve then return it.

Yeah, most of the time it's on the headphones/earplugs.

Happened to me before with devices, and it was the earphones, try plugging them out a bit, like one milimeter and see if it sounds better then?

I've had this problem with faulty/broken headphones/earphones.

Try restarting the iPhone?

Blow in the hole of the headphone jack
