It really show the impact that a doll or the characters in a movie/cartoon etc can have on a child's and subsequently an aldult's sense of belonging. This helps emphasise the importance of being able to go into a toy store and buy a doll that represents a fat, a skinny, a black, a white, a girl, a boy, and any group that needs representation in general.
