Britney's fifth studio album was originally scheduled for 2006. People magazine reported that it was scheduled for a November release. However it's been delayed due to Spears' second pregnancy which she announced on May 9, 2006. Spears has confirmed in the recent issue of People magazine that the album will be released next year and that it will be the best of her albums.

Jonathan Rotem, a well-known R&B producer, is now in the studio with Spears. His record label's official site mentioned that he is working on a few songs for Spears' new album, two of which are entitled "Everybody" and "Who Can She Trust".

Ne-Yo was interviewed by KISS fm , and he said that he has been preparing couple of songs specially for Britney. He also mentioned that he wrote a song for her called "Impossible" and he said that one of his favorite lyrics in the song is where it says “doubt me, I want you to. I want you to think I’m drowning in myself. But baby no after what I’ve been through, lessons learned story’s told I know that nothing is impossible”.

Sean Garrett insists the tempest-tossed singer is on track and in good spirits about the comeback album she's been recording for release late this year. "It's been very uplifting to see her courage and strength through these times," says the music man, one of the principle producers who's been working with Spears in the studio. "She comes in ready to go. It's been fun and interesting to work with her. There's been no negative feeling, really."
Reports are that the album will be an upbeat, "feel good" kind of record, not a confessional or angry one, and Garrett reaffirms that, adding that Spears' songs will cover a range of topics -- some of a more personal nature. He says he's created "a few packages for her, presents to open up."
So -- she'll come back stronger than ever? He smiles and answers: “What’s My Name?” .

Kara DioGuardi, who is working with Spears on her upcoming album, tells PEOPLE that she was in the recording studio with Spears Monday and that the singer "works really hard."
