Taylor Swift's '1989' returns to the hot spot for an eighth week on the brandnew Global Album Chart:
Since the start of the weekly Top 40 Album chart by Media Traffic more than 10 years ago, only four albums were longer at no.1: 'Fallen' by Evanescence and 'Life For Rent' by Dido ruled for 10 weeks each, the 'Frozen' soundtrack was 11 weeks at the summit and Adele's '21' held the no.1 for enormous 42 weeks.
