No shade Britney stans but this is a serious question I have and I just want to understand from your point of view what exactly makes Britney Spears a legend and worthy fo your stan time? Yes I understand that there is a lot of nostalgia if you've grown up listening to her music but today's Britney is not 2001's Britney. What keeps your stan flame lit because I know its not her dancing so explain it to me please

Because after all these years and all she's been through she's still the same real and humble person she was in 1999. She deserves respect for that alone. She's not stuck up her own twat like Lady Gaga and she's not fake and haughty like Beyoncé. She's never tried too hard. She just is. Every singer of today is trying to outdo 2001 Britney and they have all failed. There's no point calling her a nostalgia act when nobody's "relevance" of today will ever touch hers at her peak. I'd consider her an "icon" before I'd consider her a legend. Her impact on pop culture has been far greater than it has been on music, for better or for worse.
