INTRODUCTION

Welcome to ATRL Is Burning, the innovative roleplaying game inspired by the iconic gay culture documentary "Paris Is Burning". In this game, ATRLers will express their love for fashion and inner creativity in a fun and stan driven way.

There will be a series of challenges. These challenges will have a theme or scenario that you will have to complete, role-playing as a female celebrity of your choice. This role-play will consist of choosing a look or looks, along with other details or quirks that each challenge will have. Your ability to come up with fresh and exciting fashion and material for each challenge will secure your way to the top and help you become ATRL's first Burning Queen.

GAME PLAY

Throughout the game, you will take on the role of any female celebrity of your choice. You will be asked to come up with looks and garments that you think represent and fit your vision for the challenge. However, it can't be an outfit or look that your celebrity of choose has already worn; the celebrity is merely a mannequin for the hosts and judges to visualize your garments on. You can collect outfits and material from fashion and shopping websites, as well as any other outlet you may find that assists you with the challenge.

You have to create a list of your looks that you want to submit OR you can choose to create a style board, which is a collage of outfits, accessories, and other factors (places, objects, backgrounds, scenery, colors, etc.) that contribute to your idea or look. You can link your garments from external sites or image sites, use Photoshop to assemble your submission, or use Polyvore, which is a fashion collage site that contains thousands of different garments, accessories, and many other things that you can use to create your style board. With each submission, you will post your selections, along with summaries of the key components of your choices and the idea or look you were trying to convey.

ELIMINATIONS

After each challenge every week, YSL and prayer will review all the submissions and will hold a formal elimination ceremony. The elimination ceremony every week will be a mini-challenge within itself.
