Following in the footsteps of Jennifer Lopez, the dawn of Beyonce‘s solo career saw the star launch a promotional assault on the media via music, fashion and film.
Alas, despite going on to become one of Hollywood’s more bankable triple threats, Mrs.Carter‘s parting with manger Matthew Knowles saw her movie ventures pushed aside to make more room for her album and touring plans.
Now, in what may mark her return to the big screen, the star has been linked to a role which would see her star alongside ‘Six Degrees of Separation’ actor Will Smith!
This morning, Col Needham‘s ‘Internet Movie Data Base‘ surprised fans when it uploaded an alleged cast list for ‘Hancock 2′ to its server.
Why it was so surprising?
That’s right, should ‘IMDB‘s information prove to be true, Beyonce will star in the sequel to Smith’s ‘Hancock’, which generated $624,386,746 at the Box Office after its July 2nd 2008 release date.
As an actress, Beyonce has generated over $563,967,994 million at the ‘Box Office’ since 2002, the year in which she starred in comedy flick ‘Austin Powers in Goldmember.’
