Why the hell do people not put any blame on the Democrats and their terrible strategy? They started their GOTV too late.

Also since people want to also put the blame on Bernie, the only thing that Bernie did was make Hillary complacent at getting her ''firewall'' base out in the Generals because of the large primary margins. I was listening to an interview with Roland Martin from the Convention and he said that GOTV efforts should be done three months in advance like in 2012.

May I ask how did Trump win if he had less votes than Hillary? Sorry, I'm not into politics.

US has an electoral college system which determines the president based on absolute majority. Trump won the campaign because he recieved the 270+ votes needed from the EC to win.

how is any of this an excuse? it is your CIVIL DUTY by living in such a privileged nation to vote! doesn't matter how much or how little someone is winning by. the fact that donald trump won the presidency with 25 percent of the nation supporting him shows how lazy, apathetic and complacent america is.

The media needs to completely throw out their polling system and start over. The constant repeating for weeks that the election was already over and Clinton won DEFINITELY had an impact, especially in inner cities where people already weren't highly enthusiastic about Clinton.
