Have you ever had a favorite artist milk something that has happened in their lives to promote interest for their new album? It seems like lately several girls have been doing this and in the longrun it really didn't help their sales at all. How do you feel about artists who use personal problems to sell their albums?

Does writing/ performing/ promoting songs about famous ex-boyfriends count?


If not, the only situation that has really been milked was the whole Taylor-Kanye thing.
